About

We were founded in 2013, as a team who would play a bit of Rugby league and try to organize local tournaments as rugby  league in Japan was largely a Tokyo based sport. We ran a 7s tournament in 2013, and a full fledged 9s tournament in 2014. It was in 2015 where we played our first full fledged Rugby League Game, a 56-20 Loss to the Nagoya Barbarians.  In 2016 we got our revenge winning 38-30. With Nagoya collapsing after our game, we started to play a team called West Mix (Now Kamisenryu) and have continued to play them in the west division of Rugby League Japan.   If you want to sponser the team or help out rugby league in Japan please contact us.

日本でのラグビーリーグ(13人制)の試合はこれまで主に東京で行われておりました。しかし関西でもプレーしたいというメンバーが集まり2013年から活動を行ってまいりました。 2013年は7s、2014年は9sの試合、徐々に参加してもらえるメンバーが増え2015年に初めて13人制の試合が行えたのです。 試合は関西雷vs名古屋バーバリアンズ。結果は20-56でした。2016年には再度名古屋バーバリアンズとの対決で38-30で勝利することができました。 その後名古屋バーバリアンズは人数不足のため解散。代わって混成チームのWestMixを経て設立された亀仙流と関西雷の2チームで関西のラグビーリーグを盛り上げてます。
